PhotoVOCA App

PhotoVOCA requires network access solely for the purposes of Internet Image Search.

PhotoVOCA makes use of email attachments to share Grids, but it does not have access to your email content or your address book.

The PhotoVOCA App does not include advertising, analytics or monitoring software.

 

Android Security Permissions Explained

PhotoVOCA requires the following access on Android.

Hardware & Storage Controls

• Record Audio allows the built-in MP3 recorder to make voice recordings.
• Control Vibrator enables haptic feedback (its an optional feature)
• Modify/Delete USB Storage & SD Card Storage PhotoVOCA needs access to create, import and manipulate Grids and their assets.

Internet & Network

• Full Internet Access allows PhotoVOCA to connect directly to image search API - currently Google Image Search - rather than requiring a web browser.
• Create Bluetooth Connections Bluetooth transfer of VOCA files is supported on later devices, Bluetooth switch interfaces are supported for scanning

Access to Contacts/Address Book is not requested - our sharing by email feature passes attachments to your own email app which handles the rest.
